Type

The general category or style of the bolt, such as hex head, carriage, lag, or indication of its intended use.

Flange Bolt

Used in automotive applications, plumbing, and more, flange bolts feature a washer like flange beneath the bolt head that speeds production time and distributes the clamping load, offering protection to the mating surface.

Flange Screw

The head and washer are combined into a single unit, which spreads out the clamping force of the fastener on the joint and can be combined with just about any head style. This fastener is designed to be screwed into a tapped (pre-threaded) hole or secured with a nut. The underside of these heads are washer faces and the point ends are chamfered.

Serrated Flange Bolt

Serrated flange bolts better resist loosening due to vibration.
