How do I log in?

To log in, click on My Account and enter your username and password.

Are my username and password case sensitive?

The username field is not case sensitive but it is space sensitive. The password field is both case and space sensitive.

Can I have my username or password sent to me if I forgot them?

You can have your username sent to you via email by clicking on My Account and then on Forgot Username. You will receive an email with your username. If you have forgotten your password you can click on My Account and then on Forgot Password. You will receive an email to reset your password. If you have forgotten both your username and password please contact Web Support.

How do I change my Username or Password?

If you know your username and password, log in and click on My Account and then on User Preferences. If you do not know your current username or password, click on My Account and then on ‘Forgot your username or password’ to have both sent via email.

How do I view my Invoices or Statements online?

If you can see Open Balances but do not see your Monthly Statements on Fastenal.com, but would like to, please contact your local branch and ask to be set up for Periodic Invoicing.

If you have the invoice or statement ID, click Resources in the header, then click Open Balances and Statements. If you do not have that information, contact your local branch for assistance in creating a registration that will give you access to all information on file. You can also find those instructions here.

How do I add or edit address information?

Log in to your Account. You can add or edit the address by clicking on My Account and then on either the Shipping Address or Billing Address. Addresses can also be added in Step 1 of Checkout.

How can I sign up for paperless billing?

First, log in to your account. An Account Administrator can click on My Account and then Store Accounts. To change delivery options for invoices, select the account and click on Go Paperless.

What is an Order Template and how do I use it?

How do I add a new user to my account online?

A new user can be added to an account by navigating to:
1. My Account next to the search bar
2. under the Account Management section click Users and Permissions
3. At the bottom of the page click the New User button.

Why is Credit Card my only choice of a payment method?

If you have a credit account at one of the Fastenal branches, and do not see the option to charge to that account, please contact your local branch.

Where can I find a Material Test Report (MTR)?

Material Test Reports can be found under Resources.

Where can I find out more information about REACH/RoHS product offerings?

To determine if a product is REACH or RoHS compliant, look for these icons in the product description:
