How Does SmartScan Work?

SmartScan is designed to compliment the way you do business every day. We give you the tools to label and scan your inventory locations along with a workflow to view and approve orders. Simply print bar-coded labels for your stocking locations, scan the bins you want replenished, drop the scanner in the cradle, and send the order to your local Fastenal store through Fastenal.com.

Our order approval workflow enables you to route requested orders through the proper person within your organization for approval before the order is placed with Fastenal. Reduce paper requisition forms, notes and calls to purchasing. Channel your spending and save your company time ordering the products you need.
