| Notes | One slightly longer prong makes these pins easy to open. Use to lock clevis pins, slotted nuts, and other fasteners. Length is measured from under the head to the end of the short shank. Zinc plating froms a zinc carbonate film that greatly retards the corrosion rate in a normal atmosphere, which is similar to the aluminum oxide film that forms on aluminum that accounts for its low corrosion rate. |
