What is the Fast Order Pad?

The Fast Order Pad is optimized for 10-key style order entry. To use, type the desired Fastenal/Customer sku, press Enter, type Quantity, press Enter. The cursor will return to the SKU field where you may repeat the process.

What is the Excel Upload?

This feature allows you to instantly create a shopping cart from an Excel spreadsheet. Format your Excel file as follows: Beneath these column titles, enter the Fastenal part numbers and quantities. Column A must be formatted as Text to prevent losing any leading zeros on the sku.

What is Copy/Paste?

The Copy / Paste function allows you to copy data from one file and paste it into Fastenal.com to build a shopping cart. To do this, copy the Fastenal part number and qty from your file by highlighting the data and selecting Copy from the program's Edit menu (or Ctrl C). Then click on the Copy / Paste input box on Fastenal.com and choose the Paste function from your browser's Edit menu.

Notes:

The SKU and Qty must be separated by a TAB or Comma. When copying this data from two columns in an Excel file this is done automatically. No more than 1,000 SKUs can be entered into one Shopping Cart using any of these options.
